BIM Specialist

Direct Hire/ Permanent Placement
$80k – $100k ish, Hybrid, Bonus, Full bene’s – 100% PPO premiums paid for individual, 401k match, etc.
THE CLIENT
This particular client is a small (25-50 ppl, 25+ yrs. old) MEP+ firm who work on large and small projects in industrial manufacturing, science & tech/ healthcare, clean rooms, and commercial/ retail.
OVERVIEW
The BIM Specialist will be tasked with developing, coordinating, and maintaining accurate Building Information Models (BIM) for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The ideal Candidate will work closely with engineers, designers, and project teams to ensure models and construction documents meet project requirements, company standards, and industry best practices.
ROLE/ RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Prepare and update construction documents, layouts, and coordinated drawings.
• Perform clash detection, maintain BIM standards, templates, and model organization.
• Oversee project set up in Revit/ AutoCAD for the design team
• Identify conditions affecting mechanical, electrical, or plumbing routes and space constraints by interpreting architectural and structural drawings
REQUIRED/ HIGHLY PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM 360, Bluebeam
• BIM experience in an MEP environment
• 5+ years’ experience
