TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Pediatric Associate Medical Director to provide both clinical and administrative leadership within a community-based pediatric practice serving underserved patient populations in the Sacramento area.\n

\nPosition Details:\n
\nLeadership opportunity combining direct patient care with medical management responsibilities\n
\nOversight of pediatric clinical operations, quality initiatives, and provider performance\n
\nCollaborate closely with executive and clinical leadership teams\n
\nResponsibilities include:\n
\nClinician mentoring, evaluation, and performance improvement\n
\nPeer review oversight\n
\nDevelopment and implementation of pediatric policies, procedures, and workflows\n
\nEHR template and workflow optimization\n
\nOversight of referral utilization and specialty care access\n
\nParticipation in strategic planning and quality improvement initiatives\n
\nCompliance with regulatory and accreditation standards\n
\nFoster a collaborative and accountable clinical culture\n
\nServe a diverse and underserved pediatric patient population\n
\n
\nSchedule:\n
\nFull-time\n
\nMonday–Friday\n
\nDaytime clinic hours\n
\n
\nClinical Responsibilities:\n
\nComprehensive pediatric care from infancy through adolescence\n
\nPreventive care and wellness visits\n
\nAcute illness management\n
\nChronic disease management\n
\nDevelopmental and behavioral assessments\n
\nDiagnostic evaluation and treatment planning\n
\nSpecialty referrals and care coordination\n
\nPatient and family education\n
\nTimely review of laboratory, imaging, and consultation results\n
\nMedical record completion and billing documentation\n
\n
\nRequirements:\n
\nMinimum 3 years of recent outpatient primary care experience\n
\nPrevious leadership or management experience required\n
\nOne of the following:\n
\nMD or DO with completion of an accredited Pediatrics residency\n
\nCurrent Board Certification in Pediatrics\n
\nActive and unrestricted California license\n
\nAbility to obtain Medicare, Medi-Cal, and commercial payer credentialing\n
\nBLS certification required\n
\nPALS certification preferred\n
\n
\nClinical Environment:\n
