We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a growing California general contractor with a strong portfolio of multifamily, student housing, affordable housing and mixed use construction.

What You’ll Do
• Lead multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout
• Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement and overall project performance
• Work closely with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors and internal project teams
• Oversee subcontractor buyout, contract administration, change orders, RFIs, submittals, pay applications and project documentation
• Develop and maintain project schedules, cost forecasts and financial reporting
• Identify potential project risks and develop solutions before they impact schedule or budget
• Coordinate closely with the Superintendent and field team to maintain project momentum and quality
• Participate in preconstruction, estimating, value engineering and constructability reviews
• Maintain strong client relationships and serve as a primary point of contact throughout the project
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the expected quality standards
What We’re Looking For
• 5+ years of construction Project Management experience
• Strong background with ground up multifamily construction
• Experience with podium, Type III, Type V, mixed use, student housing, affordable housing or similar residential projects is highly valued
• Experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Strong understanding of budgets, contracts, scheduling, procurement and cost control
• Experience with subcontractor buyout and contract negotiations
• Strong knowledge of RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications and project documentation
• Ability to work effectively with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors and field teams
• Strong communication, organization and problem solving skills
• Procore experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related field preferred
