Food Processor / Blender / Compounder (Food Manufacturing)
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: 1st starts at 4:00am and 2nd shift starts at 2:30pm
Location: Anaheim
Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Food Processor / Blender / Compounder to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for accurately weighing, preparing, and blending ingredients to produce high-quality food products while following food safety, sanitation, and quality standards. The ideal candidate has experience in a production/manufacturing environment and understands the importance of accuracy, cleanliness, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate food production equipment such as blenders, mixers, grinders, and processing machines
- Accurately measure, weigh, and combine ingredients based on batch formulas and production requirements
- Follow SOPs and production instructions to ensure product consistency and quality
- Perform basic documentation such as batch records, production logs, and quality check forms
- Maintain clean and sanitary work areas in compliance with GMP / CGMP and food safety standards
- Assist with packaging, labeling, and staging finished goods as needed
- Safely handle raw materials including lifting, dumping, and transporting ingredients
- Support warehouse and production flow, including moving materials (forklift/pallet jack if trained)
- Report any equipment issues, safety hazards, or product inconsistencies to the supervisor immediately
- Follow all company safety standards, PPE requirements, and sanitation procedures
Qualifications
- Experience in food manufacturing, blending/compounding, or production preferred
- Knowledge of GMP / CGMP, sanitation, and food safety procedures highly preferred
- Ability to accurately follow batch formulas and written instructions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with physical activity
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Forklift experience is a plus (not required)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
