This role is ideal for dedicated School Psychologists with a passion for helping children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Your expertise will be valued and your contribution essential, particularly as one site serves a Special Day Class (SDC) population.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist credential
- Experience with elementary-aged children (TK-5th preferred)
- Knowledge of assessment tools and counseling interventions for diverse learners
- Background in supporting students in special education, particularly SDC, highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, observations, and evaluations to support student learning and growth
- Provide individual and group counseling for students with varying needs, including those in SDC settings
- Collaborate with educators, service providers, and families to develop and implement effective strategies and interventions
- Prepare and present clear, actionable reports and participate in IEP meetings
- Help foster a positive and inclusive school climate
