We are seeking a Demolition Worker to support demolition, cleanup, and material-handling activities across residential structures, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities. Reporting to the foreman and working under the project manager and site superintendent, this role performs hands-on work using hand tools, vacuums, tape, and plastic barriers. The ideal candidate works at a fast pace, remains safety-focused, takes initiative, asks questions, and contributes effectively as part of a team on local job sites.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural demolition using hand tools.
- Remove and handle construction materials and debris.
- Dispose of demolition debris in accordance with site requirements.
- Operate hand tools and vacuums safely and effectively.
- Set up dust-control barriers using tape and plastic.
- Support dust suppression and maintain clean work areas.
- Carry equipment and materials throughout the job site.
- Follow safety requirements and proactively support a productive crew.
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in demolition work.
- Familiarity with demolition tools and material handling.
- Knowledge of construction safety and hazard identification.
- Understanding of dust suppression and personal protective equipment.
- Ability to maintain situational awareness in active work areas.
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to follow directions.
- Ability to work quickly, stay productive, and take initiative without waiting to be told what to do.
