This full-time, full school year opportunity is perfect for passionate SLPs ready to commit to a longer assignment and eager to work onsite with a diverse caseload, supporting PreK as the primary population. Ideal candidates thrive in collaborative environments and are dedicated to fostering effective communication in students with a range of mild to severe needs, including those using AAC devices.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CF) status—new graduates are welcome
- Valid California SLP license and Certificate of Clearance
- Bilingual Spanish skills are strongly preferred, though monolingual candidates will be considered
- Experience with SEIS and familiarity with California Medicaid (Paradigm) documentation appreciated
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is desirable
Role Highlights:
- Deliver onsite speech-language services primarily to PreK students, with potential to serve across multiple locations as an itinerant SLP
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication challenges
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district protocols
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective therapy strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress evaluations
