Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer for a direct hire opportunity in Santa Barbara, CA. This role is ideal for an experienced IT infrastructure professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, leading enterprise technology initiatives, and partnering with business leaders to build secure, scalable, and reliable systems.
The Senior Network Engineer will serve as a trusted technical advisor across infrastructure, networking, cloud, cybersecurity, and systems administration. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with supportive leadership, strong cross-functional teamwork, and meaningful visibility into business-critical technology decisions. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze current IT infrastructure, systems, networks, and workflows to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Design, implement, and optimize enterprise-level infrastructure, networking, cloud, and security solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Lead system migrations, infrastructure upgrades, cloud implementations, and technology modernization projects.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting, technical escalation support, and root-cause analysis for complex infrastructure and network issues.
- Develop IT policies, procedures, documentation, security best practices, and executive-level recommendations.
- Support cybersecurity assessments, vendor management, compliance efforts, and mentoring of internal IT team members.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $100,000 to $130,000 per year.
- Employment type: Direct hire.
- Location: Santa Barbara, CA.
