Job Description

General Purpose:
Comet Electric is seeking a reliable Driver/Warehouse Employee to support our operations. This role is responsible for ensuring timely delivery of materials to job sites and efficient management of warehouse operations, while upholding the company’s standards for safety, professionalism, and teamwork. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Operate company vehicles safely and perform deliveries according to planned routes.

· Receive, store, and distribute materials efficiently in the warehouse.

· Maintain accurate records of tools, equipment, and materials.

· Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

· Communicate effectively with office staff, foremen, and project managers.

· Perform general warehouse duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Additional Expectations:

Maintain professionalism, honesty, and teamwork at all times.
Flexible schedule; extended hours may be required.
Follow a strict alcohol and drug-free policy.

Qualifications:

· Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record.

· 3–5 years of relevant experience preferred.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).

· Strong attention to detail and professional work ethic.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Must be able to see, hear, speak, and write clearly.

Work Environment:

Drivers: exposed to outdoor conditions at job sites.
Warehouse: moderate to high noise levels.
