This assignment is for a general acute care unit with a mixed medical and surgical patient population. The RN will deliver coordinated nursing care for an individual patient or a group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process, while supervising and directing the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinating care with other disciplines.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group according to the nursing process and established standards of care.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making in patient care.
- Work on a general acute care unit with a mix of medical and surgical patients, ensuring safety, quality, and patient satisfaction.
- Document care activities thoroughly in the medical record and participate in care planning and parity of outcomes.

Requirements
- Active registered nursing license in California
- Ability to provide care for medical-surgical patients per established standards and nursing process
- Proficiency in clinical assessment, critical thinking, and coordination with interdisciplinary teams
- Availability for 12-hour day shifts on a 3x12 schedule in a travel assignment
- Strong communication and documentation skills
