Apartment Maintenance Technicians Wanted

About the Job:

The Apartment Maintenance Technician reports to the Community Manager and the Resident Services Supervisor. This individual supplements maintenance, landscape and management efforts to keep the property in a clean and orderly condition that will meet company standards and attract residents.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Daily attention to the appearance of the vacant apartments and common areas
• Painting and cleaning of vacant patios and touch-up cleaning of vacant apartments, as needed
• Exterior painting and cleaning, as needed, including, but not limited to parking spots, curbs, etc.
• Electrical, Plumbing, Drywall, Painting and Appliance Care
• Other duties that may be needed or required by the Community Manager or other supervisors
• Apartment turns and work orders

SKILLS:

• Work under direct supervision or minimal supervision
• Be able to comprehend and follow instructions
• Perform simple and repetitive tasks
• Be a team player
• At least 3-6 maintenance experience
• Own tools a plus
• HVAC a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Exposure to various types of weather conditions
• Standing, walking
• Pushing, pulling
• Crawling, kneeling
• Twisting, carrying
• Working with hands
