Position: Unarmed Foot Patrol Officer (Union Square)
Pay: $27.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time (16–40 hours per week) | Day, Swing, or Evening Shifts
Location: On-site
We are seeking professional Unarmed Foot Patrol Officers dedicated to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment in Union Square. Officers will patrol assigned areas, safeguard businesses, and ensure the safety of visitors, tourists, shoppers, and the public.
Required Certifications (must have to apply):
- Valid Guard Card
- Pepper Spray Certificate
- Handcuffing Certificate
- Taser Certificate
- Baton Certificate
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol Union Square on foot to deter theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other safety concerns.
- Monitor and protect public spaces to ensure the safety of visitors and tourists.
- Enforce site rules and issue warnings or remove violators when necessary.
- Respond to suspicious or criminal activity, including detaining individuals when appropriate.
- Conduct foot patrols of premises and parking areas to deter theft, vandalism, trespassing, illegal vending, camping, or other violations.
- Enforce site rules and regulations by issuing warnings or removing violators as appropriate.

- Identify and report facility issues such as fire hazards, leaks, or other safety concerns.
- Request emergency assistance in high-risk situations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of security experience (required).
- Prior military, law enforcement, or related experience preferred.
- Valid certifications: Guard Card, Pepper Spray, Handcuffing, Taser, and Baton (all required).
- Familiarity with security procedures and equipment.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks.
- Strong observation, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
