Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Clamp Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a clamp forklift in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment and will be responsible for safely moving, loading, unloading, and storing products and materials.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a clamp forklift to move, load, unload, and stage products and materials.
- Handle pallets, cartons, and other warehouse materials using proper clamp attachments.
- Load and unload trailers efficiently and safely.
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
- Properly place and retrieve products from designated storage locations.
- Inspect forklift equipment before each shift and report any mechanical or safety concerns.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures, company policies, and OSHA guidelines.
- Maintain accurate inventory and product placement when required.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and warehouse team members.
- Meet productivity and quality standards while maintaining safe work practices.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a clamp forklift is required.
- Forklift certification or documented forklift training is preferred.
- Warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
- Ability to safely lift, move, and position products and materials.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Team-oriented attitude and good communication skills.
