Job Description

The Working Foreman will oversee cleanroom and laboratory design-build projects on site, serving as a key link between customers, field crews, in-house engineers, and project managers. Reporting to the Project Manager, this role balances hands-on field work with supervisory responsibilities and may involve regional travel to project sites across the United States. Projects may include pharmaceutical facilities, biotechnology laboratories, medical device facilities, research laboratories, microelectronic and electronic assembly environments, dry rooms, cold storage rooms, and modular wall systems.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily site activities and field operations.
Coordinate crews and support effective project execution.
Interface with customers and coordinate with engineering teams.
Track project schedules, materials, and overall progress.
Monitor workmanship and maintain quality control standards.
Promote compliance with construction safety requirements.
Prepare progress reports and maintain project documentation.

Required Qualifications

Associate degree in Construction Management or a related field.
Ability to read blueprints.
Computer proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

Two or more years of construction supervision experience.
OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification.
Experience with cleanroom or laboratory construction.
Experience with construction safety and quality control.
Experience coordinating subcontractors and maintaining project documentation.
Knowledge of modular wall installation, HVAC ductwork installation, or HEPA filter installation.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
