Job Description
Senior Product Manager - Agentic AI (San Francisco)
About the company
Our client is an AI-native fintech building agentic AI for credit unions and community banks. One AI platform powers voice, digital and employee-assisted channels for hundreds of financial institutions and reaches more than 10 million people across the US. They're a Series A company that is already cash-flow positive, and they're launching new products quickly, including an AI-first contact center and an AI-native consumer banking experience.
The role
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager with 3–5 years of experience to own a subdomain of the company's agentic AI platform from start to finish: sequencing and defending the roadmap, and making sure what ships actually works. You'll be a high-ownership, first-principles PM working directly with the CEO and VP of Product, with the CTO/Co-Founder going deep on the hardest problems.
What you'll do
- Own outcomes and metrics for a defined subdomain or initiative, not just ship features
- Build, sequence and defend your area's roadmap within the direction set by product leadership
- Work with senior engineers almost every day and debate technical tradeoffs, not just hand off tickets
- Run discovery and turn customer and stakeholder input into a plan you stand behind
- Mentor the PM2 working in your area
Must-haves
- Has owned a product or subdomain end to end, including roadmap and outcomes, with real autonomy (startup or big tech)
- 3–5 years of experience as a product manager
- Has built or shipped conversational AI, contact-center (CCaaS) or other complex AI products
- Works directly with engineers on technical tradeoffs (technical PM, ex-engineer, or deeply technical product)
- Daily, hands-on AI-native workflow (e.g., builds prototypes with Claude, Cursor or similar)
- Bachelor's degree
Nice to have
- B2B, financial services, fintech or regulated-industry experience
- Previous software engineering experience or a CS degree
- Startup experience
Compensation and location
- $180K–$210K USD base plus founding-team-tier equity
- Relocation support of roughly $5K–$10K
- 100% paid health, dental and vision, daily meals and Claude Enterprise for everyone
- Onsite 5 days a week in a new office in San Francisco's Financial District
- Open to visa transfers (e.g., OPT, H-1B transfers)
Interview process
- Take-home assignment (within 1 week; may be skipped for very strong, closely relevant backgrounds)
- Hiring manager interview (45 minutes)
- Optional technical deep dive (45–60 minutes)
- Final interview with the CEO (45–60 minutes)
