The Dishwasher (PM Shift) is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen by efficiently washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment during the evening shift. This role ensures a smooth operation by supporting the kitchen staff and contributing to a clean and organized work environment.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment or by hand
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area and kitchen floors
- Sort and stack clean dishes and utensils in designated areas
- Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning tasks as needed
- Ensure all sanitation and safety standards are met in the dishwashing area
- Dispose of trash and recyclables in proper containers
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to management
- Support team members to help maintain efficient kitchen operations throughout the shift
