Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in respiratory therapy, critical care, and patient assessment, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality respiratory support and patient care. Duties

Receive and follow schedule/instructions from your supervisor and as outlined in our established policies and procedures.

Adhere to established policies and procedures of the community to which the position is assigned.

Perform focused interviews to identify specific patients’ needs.

Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiological and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.

Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential diagnoses.

Plan for outcomes of care for assigned patients.

Perform interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and the company policies and patient care outcome standards.

Follow to emergency, safety and infection control procedures of the community to which the position is assigned.

Promote and participate in activities to facilitate good interpersonal communications.

Report and document changes in the patient’s respiratory status to the Physician, Nurse and others responsible for oversight of patient care, prior to exiting community.

Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-department personnel, as well as other departments within the community.
Experience
-
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Respiratory Therapist

Minimum of associate degree from an accredited school.

Graduate of a respiratory care program required.

Bachelor of Science degree in the health care field preferred.

Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license for California.

Must hold a current CPR/BLS and ACLS certification.
