Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employees and leaders regarding HR-related questions, requests, and services
- Respond to real-time phone inquiries and manage cases submitted through the HR case management system
- Research employee questions, interpret HR policies and procedures, and coordinate or escalate complex issues to appropriate HR teams
- Process and maintain employee information, including new hires, terminations, promotions, salary adjustments, and other employee data changes
- Support position and requisition requests and maintain accurate employee and position data
- Administer and support employee benefits and performance evaluation programs
- Maintain and monitor the performance appraisal system and prepare and distribute reports in accordance with departmental policies
- Conduct and coordinate benefit orientations, open enrollment activities, and benefit additions or changes related to qualifying events
- Assist with benefit claims resolution by coordinating with employees and benefit vendors
- Ensure required benefit documentation is processed in a timely manner and in accordance with applicable COBRA and ERISA requirements
- Support recruitment and new-hire processes, including employment agreements, employment offers, recruitment packets, and job postings
- Coordinate new-hire orientation with presenters and review employee orientation feedback to identify opportunities for improvement
- Assist with exit interviews, offboarding, termination activities, and other employee lifecycle processes
- Assist with preparing, reviewing, and updating job descriptions to ensure accuracy
- Maintain accurate HR records and document employee interactions and case activities appropriately
- Protect confidential employee information and maintain data integrity in all HR-related activities
- Provide professional internal and external customer service and respond to inquiries within established service expectations
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or an equivalent combination of education and experience
