Location: Lobby Bar – Castro District, San Francisco
Employment Type: Full-Time (8-hour shifts)
Candidates must be able to close the bar and have reliable transportation home after 12:30 AM.

Located in the vibrant Castro District of San Francisco, Lobby Bar is a premier destination where craft cocktails meet history, community, and elegance. As a high-end LGBTQ+ history bar, we take pride in delivering an exceptional mixology experience in a space that honors and celebrates LGBTQ+ culture.
We are seeking a talented and service-driven Mixologist & Bartender to join our team—someone passionate about crafting elevated cocktails, providing warm and high-touch hospitality, and being part of an iconic space in one of the world’s most legendary LGBTQ+ neighborhoods.
What You’ll Do:

Craft and serve sophisticated, innovative cocktails with precision and consistency.

Deliver exceptional, high-touch service, ensuring every guest enjoys a welcoming and refined experience.

Maintain a pristine bar and workspace, upholding the highest cleanliness and safety standards.

Manage stocking, inventory control, and bar organization, ensuring seamless operations.

Assist in clearing and resetting tables, contributing to a polished and efficient environment.

Execute opening and closing procedures, ensuring the bar is ready for a smooth shift and properly secured at closing.

Stay ahead of mixology trends, contributing creative ideas for seasonal and signature cocktails.

Foster an inclusive, celebratory atmosphere that reflects the rich LGBTQ+ history of the Castro District.

What We’re Looking For:

Previous bartending and mixology experience in a high-end or craft cocktail bar.

Deep knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, and cocktail techniques, including house-made ingredients, infusions, and specialty garnishes.

A hospitality-first mindset, with the ability to engage guests and personalize their experience.

Strong organization and multitasking skills in a fast-paced setting.

A passion for LGBTQ+ history, community, and the art of mixology.

Must be 21+ and hold all necessary state and local alcohol service certifications.
