Job Description:
I’m reaching out regarding a Microbiology Section Lab Supervisor / Clinical Laboratory Scientist opportunity in the Modesto/Turlock, CA area with a full-time onsite schedule.
The position is ideal for a Clinical Laboratory Scientist with strong clinical microbiology experience, laboratory operations knowledge, quality control/quality assurance experience, and leadership capabilities.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) License – required
- Strong Clinical Microbiology laboratory experience
- Clinical/hospital laboratory experience
- Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA)
- CAP and CLIA regulatory compliance
- Clinical laboratory procedures and instrumentation
- Instrument operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Specimen handling and processing
- Laboratory supervision/leadership experience
- ASCP certification/registry is preferred
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Microbiology, or a related field
