Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electronics Assembler - Level 3 for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Poway, CA supporting aerospace and defense electronic and mechanical assembly operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on assembler with strong LRU assembly experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work from engineering documentation in a quality-focused production environment.
This position offers the opportunity to contribute to complex electronic assemblies, work with a skilled and supportive team, and build a path toward long-term employment. Candidates who enjoy precision work, structured processes, teamwork, and high standards of workmanship will be well-positioned for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic and mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and complete assemblies, including cables, wire harnesses, chassis, printed circuit boards, panels, LRUs, batteries, and servo motors.
- Perform wiring, component installation, hand soldering, cable harnessing, rework, modification, disassembly, and reassembly as required.
- Read and follow engineering drawings, wire lists, work instructions, assembly documentation, and established production procedures.
- Use hand tools, torque wrenches, soldering equipment, and compression connection tools to complete assembly work safely and accurately.
- Inspect and verify workmanship to ensure assemblies meet required tolerances, specifications, and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area while supporting team goals and assisting lower-level assemblers when needed.
Compensation and Benefits
- Job Type: Temp-to-hire.
- Location: Poway, CA.
- 1st Shift Pay Rate: $25.96 per hour.
- 1st Shift Options: 4:00 AM to 1:30 PM
- Extended hours may be required based on business needs.
