Assembly Operator

Mon-Fri: First Shift


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly operations independently according to Standard Work instructions.
  • Use hand/power tools and precision measuring instruments, including calipers, depth gages, thread gages, and pin gages.
  • Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure quality and AQL requirements are met.
  • Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE.
  • Participate in Lean initiatives, including 5S, SQDCC, Hour-by-Hour Charts, and Lean Engagement.
  • Identify and report material, equipment, or quality issues to the Team Leader and assist with approved corrective actions.
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance and operational checks.
  • Maintain proper scrap and recyclable material disposal.
  • Train employees on basic and complex assembly procedures.
  • Frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs. and perform standing, walking, bending, reaching, crouching, kneeling, and squatting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and write English and complete required documentation.
  • 1+ year of experience performing complex assembly operations preferred.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment preferred.
