Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Service Technician role based at Ammaar’s Toyota Vacaville in Vacaville, CA. The Service Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks according to manufacturer specifications. Day-to-day activities include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, conducting repairs, and using diagnostic tools and service manuals to ensure accurate troubleshooting. The role involves documenting work performed, maintaining clean and organized work areas, and following all safety and quality standards. The Service Technician also communicates clearly with service advisors and supports a positive customer experience by explaining service needs and recommendations in an accessible manner.

- Candidates should possess strong Maintenance & Repair skills, including experience with routine automotive services and component replacement.
- Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using diagnostic tools and technical resources.
- Candidates should possess Field Service and general Maintenance skills, including working efficiently in a shop environment and adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with service advisors and customers and support a positive service experience.
- Relevant qualifications include prior experience as an automotive technician, ASE or manufacturer certifications (Toyota experience preferred), and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with digital repair order systems, ability to read and interpret technical manuals, and commitment to continuous training and professional development.
