- Tech Fluency: You must be highly comfortable with technology, specifically navigating digital patient portals like the MyChart app/website to manage and coordinate care effectively.
- Empowerment: Assist with daily living tasks, meal prep, and implementing personalized support plans (ISPs).
- Requirements: High School Diploma/GED, valid CA Driver’s License with auto insurance, CPR/First Aid certification, and the ability to pass a Live Scan/TB test.
???? Estimated Client Schedule (Note: This specific client requires 9 to 23 hours a week. Flexibility is highly valued!)
- Mon & Wed: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Engage with client & monitor)
- Tue, Thu, Sat: 3:00 AM – 8:00 AM (Dialysis appointments—communicate proactively with medical staff)
- Fri: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Community engagement)
- ⚠️ Important: Additional doctor, dental, or specialist appointments may occasionally arise outside of these exact hours.
* ⚖️ Important Note: California Wage Order 15 Your role as a DSP falls under the "Personal Attendant" classification of CA Wage Order 15, meaning your primary focus is hands-on support, supervision, and care. We fiercely protect this classification to ensure you are never overburdened. Any general housekeeping or non-attendant duties are strictly capped and will never exceed 20% of your total weekly hours.
