RN Nurse Manager – Operating Room (OR)
Location: Santa Rosa, California
Schedule: Full-time, 3x12-hour day schedule
Base Pay: $89.73–$141.64 per hour
Position Overview
Avento Health is recruiting an experienced Operating Room RN Nurse Manager for a full-time nursing leadership opportunity in Santa Rosa, California. This role is responsible for planning, directing, and managing nursing care for a designated patient population while supporting a high-quality patient care environment.
The Nurse Manager oversees the 24-hour operation of the patient care unit with accountability for leadership, staffing, fiscal management, planning, organization, and operational oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and manage nursing care for the assigned patient population.
- Oversee day-to-day and 24-hour nursing operations for the unit.
- Provide leadership across staffing, fiscal management, planning, organization, and operational performance.
- Build proactive, collaborative relationships across interdisciplinary hospital functions.
- Develop and support programs, policies, procedures, and standards of care designed to meet patients' nursing care needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- California Registered Nurse license upon hire.
- American Heart Association BLS certification upon hire.
- At least 2 years of Operating Room RN experience in an acute-care hospital setting.
- At least 1 year of RN hospital leadership experience, such as Charge RN, Assistant Nurse Manager, or Nurse Manager.
- Computer experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of clinical experience.
- 2 years of management experience.
- Relevant specialty certification based on unit.
