Medical Supply & DME Biller

We are seeking an experienced Medical Supply & Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Biller with 2+ years of experience in government and managed care billing. Experience billing in Los Angeles County required. This is NOT a remote position. On site is required. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Submit clean claims for DME and medical supplies to Medicare, Medi-Cal, HMOs, and IPA groups.
• Review documentation for compliance with payer guidelines.
• Correct, rebill, and appeal denied or rejected claims.
• Verify authorizations and eligibility.
• Analyze EOBs/Remittance Advice and follow up on unpaid claims.
• Maintain accurate records and meet A/R follow-up goals.

Requirements:

• 2+ years DME or medical supply billing experience.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal, IPAs, and HMOs (LA County).
• Familiarity with HCPCS, CPT, and ICD-10 coding.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
