- 1 to 2+ years of inventory control, cycle counting, or related warehouse experience
- Hands-on experience performing cycle counts and inventory audits
- Previous cherry picker operating experience
- Ability and willingness to work safely at elevated heights
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
- Ability to work first shift Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:40 PM
FULL DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Cycle Counter to support inventory accuracy within a fast-paced automotive parts distribution environment in Redlands, CA. This temp-to-hire role will be responsible for performing cycle counts, researching inventory discrepancies, maintaining accurate warehouse records, operating a cherry picker, and supporting general material-handling activities. The ideal candidate will have previous inventory-control experience, be comfortable working at heights, and bring strong accuracy, reliability, and safety awareness to daily warehouse operations.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Performing regular cycle counts throughout the warehouse
- Conducting inventory audits to verify stock levels and location accuracy
- Researching and reporting inventory discrepancies
- Updating and maintaining accurate inventory records within warehouse systems
- Verifying part numbers, quantities, locations, and other inventory information
- Operating a cherry picker safely and efficiently
- Working at elevated heights to access and count inventory
- Using other warehouse and material-handling equipment as trained and authorized
- Supporting inventory-control activities throughout the facility
- Assisting with inventory reconciliation and discrepancy resolution
- Communicating inventory issues to appropriate warehouse or management personnel
- Maintaining accurate documentation related to cycle counts and inventory adjustments
- Supporting loading and unloading of trucks as needed
- Moving, staging, and organizing automotive parts and other materials
- Assisting with general warehouse operations and material-handling activities
- Maintaining organized inventory locations
- Following established warehouse procedures and inventory-control processes
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Following all applicable warehouse and equipment safety procedures
- Performing other inventory and warehouse duties as assigned
The selected candidate will also possess:
- 1 to 2+ years of inventory control, cycle counting, warehouse, or related experience required
- Previous cycle counting experience required
- Inventory auditing experience preferred
- Previous cherry picker operating experience required
- Ability to safely operate a cherry picker following applicable training and authorization
- Ability and willingness to work at elevated heights required
- Experience using warehouse-management or inventory-control systems preferred
- Automotive parts distribution experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy required
- Ability to identify and investigate inventory discrepancies
- Strong organizational skills required
- Dependable and punctual attendance required
- Ability to work independently while following established procedures
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Strong safety awareness required
- Ability to assist with loading, unloading, material movement, and other warehouse duties as needed
- Ability to successfully complete required background and drug screening
- Ability to work onsite in Redlands, CA
- Ability to work first shift Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:40 PM
- Ability to support a temp-to-hire opportunity
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
- Ability to safely operate a cherry picker and work at elevated heights
- Ability to frequently bend, reach, stoop, squat, and move throughout warehouse areas
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, move, and load warehouse materials as required
- Ability to safely handle automotive parts and inventory items of varying sizes
- Ability to perform repetitive counting, scanning, inventory verification, and material-handling activities
- Ability to visually review labels, part numbers, quantities, locations, and inventory documentation for accuracy
- Ability to use warehouse equipment and computer systems throughout the workday
- Ability to work around forklifts, cherry pickers, warehouse traffic, racking systems, and normal distribution-center activity
- Ability to wear required PPE and follow all applicable warehouse and equipment-safety procedures
- Ability to maintain focus, accuracy, and safe work practices while working at heights and performing inventory counts
Salary Range: $18.50/hour
