Special Education Teacher – Full-Time
Spindle is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a school district for the 2026–2027 school year!
Special Education Teacher Job Description:
- Provide specialized instruction and support to students across TK–8th grade.
- Provide both classroom and case management services.
- Provide pull-out services based on individual student needs.
- Develop and implement IEPs and monitor student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, paraprofessionals, and support staff to create a supportive learning environment.
- Work alongside 2 paraprofessionals in the classroom.
- Manage a current caseload of only 7 students, capped at 10.
Position Details:
- Discipline: Special Education Teacher
- Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours/week
- Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (not flexible)
- Contract Dates: ASAP – June 2027
- Classroom Support: 2 Paraprofessionals
Special Requirements:
Must have an active California credential in one of the following:
- Moderate/Severe
- Mild/Moderate with Autism Authorization (AAAS)
