You’ll work 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling options, as long as the hours fall within the school day, allowing you to balance your professional and personal commitments.
What you’ll bring:
- Valid School Psychologist certification and credentials
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of student evaluations, initial assessments, and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Compassionate, student-centered approach to practice
- Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting student evaluations and initial assessments
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring BIPs
- Communicating findings with educational teams and parents
- Providing direct and consultative support to students and staff
- Keeping thorough records and documentation in compliance with school policies and state requirements
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as needed
