Job Title: Material Handler / Warehouse Associate
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated Material Handler to support our daily warehouse operations. This role is responsible for loading, unloading, and safely moving materials throughout the facility using standard handling equipment and navigating our proprietary SAP software system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Material Movement: Load and unload materials from trucks, trains, or aircraft using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, conveyors, and hoists.
- Warehouse Operations: Receive, inspect, store, and process incoming and outgoing stock according to established warehouse guidelines and safety procedures.
- Systems & Data Entry: Learn and utilize our proprietary SAP system to update inventory, process orders, and track material movement.
- Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all pre-established safety standards, facility procedures, and operational instructions.
Must-Have Qualifications & Skills:
- Detail-Oriented & Safety Focused: Unwavering commitment to strictly following instructions and safety guidelines without cutting corners.
- Technical Aptitude: Comfortable learning and navigating proprietary SAP inventory software.
- Self-Motivated: Proven ability to stay on task and complete physical work efficiently without constant supervision.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand on your feet for the majority of the shift and comfortably lift up to 35 lbs.
Requirements & Working Conditions:
- Education & Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent; 0–2 years of experience in a warehouse or related environment.
- Equipment & Licensing: Experience or certification in operating powered industrial equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) is preferred.
- Work Environment: Moderate exposure to machinery and physical warehouse risks; lifting is typically at or below 30 lbs without significant repetitions.
