Role Description This full-time, on-site Data Engineer role is based in San Jose, CA. The Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain data pipelines and integration processes to support analytics, reporting, and operational systems. Responsibilities include developing and optimizing ETL workflows, implementing data models and warehousing solutions, and ensuring data quality, reliability, and performance across platforms. The role involves collaborating with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and provide scalable data infrastructure. The Data Engineer will also monitor production data workflows, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of data engineering practices and standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Data Engineering skills, including building and maintaining data pipelines and integration workflows.
- Candidates should possess Data Modeling and Data Warehousing skills to design, implement, and optimize structured data stores.
- Experience with SQL and at least one programming language commonly used in data engineering (such as Python, Java, or Scala).
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern data tools (such as Spark, Kafka, or relational/NoSQL databases).
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
