Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable UV Printer Operator with experience using Adobe Illustrator (AI) to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating UV printing equipment, preparing artwork files, ensuring print quality, and meeting production deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain UV printing machines to produce high-quality printed products.
- Prepare, edit, and format artwork files using Adobe Illustrator.
- Review job specifications and ensure designs are print-ready.
- Monitor print production to ensure color accuracy, alignment, and quality standards.
- Perform routine machine setup, cleaning, and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot minor printing and equipment issues.
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized production area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines.
- Work closely with design and production teams to meet customer requirements and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating UV printers required.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (AI) required.
- Knowledge of print production processes and file preparation.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
