Kluge Operator Job Description

The Kluge Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient setup, operation, and basic maintenance of

commercial die-cutting and paper cutting equipment, foil stamp, embossing & Die cutting.

Knowledge of clamshell, Bobst and brausse machines and plus.

First or Second Shift: 7am-3:30 or 1pm-9:30pm

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating and maintaining die cutting machinery to produce high-quality packaging and printed materials.
• Performing quality checks to ensure customer specifications are being met.
• Ensuring daily operator maintenance is complete and documented.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Training and assisting other employees as needed.
  The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of successful experience as a letterpress machine operator in a bindery setting.
