Your role will focus on working closely with an individual student, providing guided assistance and ensuring they receive the resources necessary to flourish in the classroom. From implementing instructional strategies to delivering social-emotional support, you will play a key role in helping your student succeed throughout the school day.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a school-based paraprofessional or in educational support roles
- Emphasis on candidates holding relevant paraprofessional credentials
- Ability to foster trust and rapport with students in 1:1 settings
- Strong communication, patience, and organization skills
- Adaptability and team-focused mindset
- Available to start as soon as possible and commit through December 2026 (with possible extension)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support and encouragement, following education plans
- Collaborate with teaching staff and therapists as part of the support team
- Facilitate classroom participation and adaptive learning strategies
- Monitor student progress and document observations
- Promote a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment
- Attend to assigned student’s specific needs throughout the school day
This position is offered on a contract basis, beginning immediately and tentatively lasting through late December 2026. Prioritization will be given to credentialed candidates looking for long-term impact and stability in a supportive educational setting.
