Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support a broad range of people operations activities in Saratoga, California. This Long-term Contract position will focus on strengthening employee support, maintaining smooth HR administration, and ensuring compliant day-to-day practices across the employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings a balanced background in employee relations, onboarding coordination, benefits support, and HR systems management within a California employment environment.
Responsibilities:
• Guide employees and managers on workplace matters, helping resolve concerns fairly, consistently, and in alignment with company policy.
• Manage core HR administrative processes, including personnel documentation, record maintenance, and routine compliance-related tasks.
• Coordinate onboarding activities to create an organized and welcoming experience for new hires from pre-employment steps through orientation.
• Support benefits administration by assisting with enrollments, updates, employee questions, and communication related to available programs.
• Maintain accurate information within HRIS platforms and help ensure data integrity across employee records and reporting.
• Partner with leadership and internal teams to apply HR practices that reflect current California labor law requirements.
• Prepare and track HR documentation, status updates, and employee lifecycle changes such as hires, transfers, and separations.
• Contribute to ongoing process improvements within HR operations to increase efficiency, consistency, and service quality.• Proven experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar HR support role.
• Hands-on knowledge of employee relations practices and day-to-day HR administration.
• Experience coordinating onboarding processes and supporting a positive onboarding experience.
• Familiarity with benefits administration, including employee support and enrollment-related activities.
• Working knowledge of HRIS systems and the ability to maintain accurate confidential records.
• Understanding of California labor law and its practical application in the workplace.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
