- Ability to interpret construction drawings, plumbing schematics, and project specifications to perform accurate material and labor takeoffs and define scope.
- Strong proficiency in plumbing cost estimating and bid preparation using estimating software or spreadsheets, with solid knowledge of plumbing materials, fixtures, codes, and installation methods for commercial and residential projects.
- Experience in a plumbing estimator, project engineer, or related construction/mechanical trades role.
- Competence in maintaining cost databases and estimate records, including data analysis and documentation.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Word) and familiarity with construction management or estimating software.
- Understanding of safety standards and best practices in construction environments.
- Relevant technical training or education in construction management, mechanical systems, or a related field.
