Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage medication prompts, reminders, and refills while assisting clients in adhering to prescribed medication regimens and ensuring proper storage.

• Facilitate transportation support for clients, both via agency vehicles and public transportation, to maintain all necessary medical appointments.

\n

• Maintain a well-supplied household environment for clients by coordinating and transporting supplies efficiently.

\n

• Deliver counseling services that meet high standards of care while aligning with each clients’ therapeutic goals and maintaining satisfaction.

\n

• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements relevant to counseling programs, including proper certifications.

\n

• Actively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, providing timely and effective communication to enhance client care.

\n

• Keep precise and timely documentation of client interactions, mileage reports, and other required records, adhering to organizational standards.

\n

• Support clients in developing skills for independent living, including daily activities like shopping, meal planning, and cooking.

\n

• Observe clients' emotional states and behaviors, reporting observations accurately to adjust counseling strategies and interventions as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base is diverse, encompassing individuals from various cultural backgrounds and age groups. This role is primarily centered around developing therapeutic relationships that foster personal growth and resilience in clients facing mental health challenges. Counselors are expected to tailor interventions to meet the unique needs of each individual, striving to empower them through effective communication and supportive care.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in counseling, rehabilitation counseling, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, guidance counseling, educational counseling, social work, family therapy, or a related field.

• Possession of a valid professional license (LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, or LMFT) in the state of California; please note that we currently cannot accept applicants with an associate license.

• Proficient computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office Suite (Word), and comfortable utilizing telehealth technologies.

• Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong organizational skills.

\n

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently without direct supervision, showcasing initiative and accountability in client care.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with geriatric populations is a plus, but not mandatory.

• Previous practice in a remote setting or telehealth environment is advantageous.
