Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Two Pharmacy Technician positions are available at a well-established medical center serving as the county hospital for Ventura County. These roles provide an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Location: Newbury Park, CA
Job Type: Contract (13 weeks+)
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescribed medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Assist in maintaining accurate patient medication records and inventory
- Support pharmacists in daily pharmacy operations to ensure timely and safe medication delivery
- Follow all established safety protocols and adhere to regulatory requirements
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably in a hospital or medical center setting
- Knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication preparation, and dispensing processes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic healthcare environment
