INDEPENDENT FREIGHT AGENT

ROLE OVERVIEW
As an Independent Freight Agent with our organization, you will have the opportunity to create and manage your own portfolio of clients while operating under our established authority. With over 60 years of expertise in temperature-controlled logistics, you will enjoy the freedom to explore various freight markets. Your primary focus will be on sales and nurturing customer relationships, while we take care of the administrative tasks.

COMPENSATION
We offer a competitive commission structure with clear terms discussed during the onboarding process. Your earnings will be directly linked to the business you develop, with no upper limit.
Qualified operators may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Experienced freight brokers (MC authority not required)
- Sales professionals eager to establish an independent freight business

- Self-motivated individuals with an existing client base in freight
- Must possess an operating brokerage or fleet operation
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify, develop, and manage freight shipping accounts throughout the Eastern U.S.
- Align shipper freight with suitable carrier capacity utilizing our asset-based division and brokerage network
- Establish and maintain enduring customer relationships across various freight segments, leveraging our extensive knowledge in temperature-controlled transportation when opportunities arise
- Negotiate rates and service agreements with both shippers and carriers
- Proactively communicate with customers regarding load status, challenges, and solutions
- Work autonomously while collaborating with our operations and support team
