Embark on an impactful contract opportunity as a Special Education Teacher supporting kindergarten students for the 26/27 school year. This position is ideal for professionals passionate about making a difference in early learners’ lives, with a focus on those holding a Moderate/Severe (Mod/Severe) CTC Certification. You will work closely with students, educators, and support staff to foster an inclusive learning environment.
Your expertise will be essential in creating individualized education plans (IEPs), adapting curriculum content, and collaborating with families to achieve the best outcomes for students. Qualifications:
- CTC Certification in Moderate/Severe Special Education required
- Experience working with kindergarten or early childhood special education populations preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Organized, proactive, and able to adapt to changing situations
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individual education plans for kindergarten students with moderate/severe needs
- Tailor instruction to meet each student’s unique strengths and learning challenges
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, aides, specialists, and family members
- Track student progress and adjust strategies as needed for continuous growth
- Foster a safe, supportive, and positive classroom climate

Compensation for this position ranges from $35.34 to $50.34. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
