The ideal candidate is an agile, intellectually curious professional who thrives in a warehouse/manufacturing setting, loves continuous improvement, and can transition seamlessly between complex financial analyses and personnel administration. This position offers a direct path for professional growth into a senior-level role as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities

Reconciliations: Manage and execute monthly balance sheet reconciliations across 14 dedicated accounts.

Inventory & Cost Accounting: Collaborate with the Operations team to implement an inventory cycle count program and investigate variances. Assist the CFO and external support firms in building out robust cost accounting frameworks (labor, freight-in, duty).

Import Administration: Track, monitor, and account for imported inventories, coordinating closely with freight forwarders regarding duties and inbound freight costs.

Analysis: Review aging and inventory reports; research variances between actual performance and budget, delivering actionable analyses directly to ownership.

Expenses: Oversee the administration of employee expense reimbursements and prepare corresponding journal entries.

Payroll & Human Resources:

Administration: Confidently and competently administer bi-weekly payroll and core human resources functions with absolute confidentiality.

Personnel Support: Serve as the primary HR touchpoint for 15 internal employees, utilizing bilingual skills to support team member communication.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.

Systems: Proficiency with Tier-2 ERP systems (e.g., Acumatica, NetSuite, Sage, MS Dynamics, or Epicor).

Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data analysis).

Communication: Outstanding oral and written communication skills. Spanish fluency is highly preferred to effectively support the workforce.

Education: A bachelor’s or associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is desired. Open to candidates currently pursuing a degree or motivated to pursue one in the future.

Mindset: A continuous-improvement mindset; comfortable challenging the status quo, intellectually curious, and possessing outstanding judgment.
