Make an impact supporting students’ communication development by bringing your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to a contract opportunity focused on two elementary school campuses. This role provides the rewarding chance to work closely with a diverse caseload of 55 students, encompassing a range of needs from speech-only and mild to moderate challenges, to students with more extensive learning needs. You’ll collaborate with educators and families to foster each child’s ability to communicate effectively in both academic and social settings.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure and required credentialing for school-based SLP roles
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques across a spectrum of abilities, including extensive learning needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with families and multidisciplinary teams
  • Comfortable traveling between two close-by elementary sites

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized tools
  • Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy to students, addressing IEP goals
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records according to district and legal standards
  • Attend IEP meetings, contribute to goal setting, and engage parents in student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers and specialists to integrate therapy into the classroom
