Machine Operator / QA – 1st Shift
Lobos Staffing is hiring an experienced Machine Operator with a strong Quality Assurance background.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Pay: $24–$25/hour
Overtime: Some OT as needed
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery according to SOPs.
- Perform in-process and finished-product quality inspections.
- Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
- Identify defects or equipment issues and make minor adjustments as needed.
- Document production and QA inspection results accurately.
- Follow GMP, safety, and quality procedures.
- Work with QA and maintenance teams to resolve quality or production issues.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of Machine Operator or Production Technician experience.
- Hands-on Quality Assurance/inspection experience.
- Experience using precision measuring tools.
- Ability to read blueprints or technical schematics preferred.
- High school diploma/GED preferred.
- Previous GMP and food industry experience preferred.
- Must be comfortable working in a meat-processing environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
