Role Description The Associate Advisor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Camarillo, CA. The Associate Advisor supports senior advisors in delivering comprehensive financial planning and investment advisory services, including gathering and analyzing client data, preparing reports, and assisting with portfolio reviews. This role involves participating in client meetings, documenting action items, following up on client requests, and helping implement recommended strategies. The Associate Advisor collaborates with the team to maintain up-to-date client records, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with LPL Financial and other partners as needed. The position also includes ongoing professional development, research on financial products and planning strategies, and contributing to a high-quality client experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, prepare reports, and support comprehensive financial plans.

  • Excellent client service and communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to build trusted relationships.
  • \n

  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a regulated environment.
  • \n

  • Comfort with financial planning and portfolio management software, CRM systems, and standard office productivity tools.
  • \n

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field preferred; progress toward CFP®, Series 7/66 or equivalent licenses is a plus.

  • Demonstrated integrity, discretion with confidential information, and commitment to regulatory compliance and ethical standards.
  • \n

  • Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment and engage in ongoing learning about financial markets and planning strategies.
