Job DescriptionProperty ManagerPay: $27.00 – $28.05 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)Location: Sacramento, CA (onsite)Schedule: Monday through Friday, full-time Monday to Friday 7:30am to 5:30pm with every other Friday offStart: Immediate availability for qualified candidatesJob Type: Full-time | Temp-to-HirePay Frequency: Weekly payAbout the RoleShareSTAFF is looking for an experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a residential community in Sacramento, CA. You’ll manage everything from leasing and tenant relations to maintenance coordination and regulatory compliance - serving as the primary point of contact for residents, vendors, and ownership.This is a great opportunity for a hands-on property management professional who takes pride in creating well-maintained communities and positive tenant experiences.   • Manage day-to-day property operations, ensuring the community is well-maintained and compliant with all applicable regulations
  • Oversee tenant relations - address resident concerns, mediate conflicts, and maintain high occupancy and satisfaction
  • Handle the full leasing cycle: market available units, conduct showings, screen applicants, and execute lease agreements
  • Coordinate property maintenance requests and manage vendor relationships for repairs and services
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, landlord-tenant law, and applicable affordable housing program requirements
  • Conduct regular property inspections to maintain quality standards and identify maintenance needs
  • Maintain accurate records using property management software (Yardi or OneSite) for leasing, work orders, and compliance documentation
  • Negotiate vendor contracts and service agreements to secure favorable terms

What You Bring - Required

  • 2+ years of experience in residential property management or a closely related field
  • Working knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and California landlord-tenant law
  • Experience with property management software such as Yardi or OneSite
  • Strong communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in data entry, record-keeping, and standard office software

What You Bring - Preferred

  • Experience with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) programs or Section 8 housing
  • Background in affordable housing compliance or legal administrative work related to real estate
  • Experience with facilities management, capital improvement planning, or vendor negotiation
  • Demonstrated ability in leasing, sales, or upselling property services
