This role involves general labor in a warehouse setting, including packing, material handling, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. You support daily warehouse operations to ensure products move efficiently and safely through the facility.
Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks to support daily warehouse operations.
- Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Pack products accurately and securely according to established procedures.
- Handle materials safely to prevent damage to products and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including regular clean up in the warehouse and maintenance department.
- Follow all safety guidelines and operational procedures while working in the warehouse.
- Assist with production-related tasks as needed to meet operational goals.
- Work overtime as needed, including 10-hour days, to support business demands.
Essential Skills
- Experience in general labor roles, preferably in a warehouse or production environment.
- Ability to perform loading and material handling tasks safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures.
- Capability to operate a pallet jack or willingness to learn.
- Reliability and punctuality for early morning shifts.
- Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Prior warehouse experience preferred.
- Previous experience in production or manufacturing environments is an advantage.
- Comfort working in a maintenance department and warehouse setting.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and organization in the work area.

Work Environment
You work in a warehouse and maintenance department setting with an early morning schedule from approximately 4:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Overtime is likely, with 10-hour days common during busy periods. The environment is hands-on and physically active, involving material handling, loading, and packing tasks. You should be prepared for a practical, industrial setting where safety procedures are followed and work attire is suitable for warehouse and maintenance activities.

This is a Contract position based out of Pico Rivera, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.45 - $29.45/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
