Registered Nurse, MICU travel assignment in Clearlake, California. Start date 10/12/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift option: 3x12-hour nights (6:00 PM–6:30 AM). Weekly pay range: $2,067–$2,238. Setting: a critical access hospital ICU.

Responsibilities
- Assess and plan nursing care for ICU patients across age groups; coordinate interventions with the multidisciplinary team.
- Implement evidence-based nursing care, monitor patient status, and adjust plans as needed in collaboration with physicians and support staff.
- Administer medications, fluids, and therapies per orders; monitor for adverse effects and document responses.
- Document care in EPIC EMR with accurate, timely charting; maintain confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, nursing staff, and families; participate in handoffs and care transitions.
- Maintain unit standards, infection control, safety protocols, and participate in on-shift coverage without on-call requirements.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of California.
- ACLS certification required; BLS certification required; PALS certification required (or within six months of hire).
- EPIC EMR experience required.
- Minimum two years of documented ICU experience and/or completion of an approved ICU training course.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Ability to work in an ICU setting at a critical access hospital, with no on-call requirement.
