We have an immediate need for a C-33 Licensed individual who is eligible to be the Responsible Managing Employee (RME) for a construction company in the Los Angeles area. This individual will be responsible for managing a field crew, estimating painting, wallcovering, and surface -prep.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining active knowledge of state correcting laws, building codes, and safety standard for the C-33 classification
- Experience supervising commercial painting, waterproofing, texturing crew
- Ability to ensure and enforce OSHA safety guidelines to include proper material handling with paints, epoxies, and varnishes and requirements of protective equipment
- Previous experience handling job bids, material takeoff, client walkthroughs, and proper documentation for project
- Excellent communication and team building skills
Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma
- Valid C-33 Painting and Decorating Contractor’s License
- Valid and Clean Driver’s License
- Four plus years as a Commercial Painter
- Ability to stand for long period of time
- Ability to lift 50lbs
