Full-Time Forklift Order Picker / Warehouse Associate

Schedule: Sunday through Friday availability; employees work 5 days per week
Work Schedule
The scheduled shift is 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM.
The warehouse operates Sunday through Friday, and employees will be scheduled to work five days per week based on operational needs.
Applicants must be able to consistently report to work by 5:30 AM and have flexibility regarding which five days they are scheduled to work.
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and experienced Forklift Order Picker / Warehouse Associate for a full-time warehouse position in Compton.
The primary responsibilities include safely operating warehouse equipment, picking and moving products, preparing orders, organizing inventory, and assisting with other warehouse duties as needed.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, productive, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in an active warehouse environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Safely operate an order picker forklift and other authorized warehouse equipment.
- Pick products and materials accurately according to assigned orders.
- Move, stage, organize, and put away warehouse inventory.
- Retrieve products from designated warehouse storage locations.
- Assist with preparing orders for shipment.
- Load, unload, and move products when required.
- Maintain organized warehouse and storage areas.
- Verify products and quantities when assigned.
- Keep work areas clean and free of debris.
- Perform general warehouse duties during slower periods or as assigned.
- Follow supervisor instructions and warehouse operating procedures.
- Follow all workplace and forklift safety requirements.
- Report damaged products, unsafe conditions, or equipment problems to a supervisor.
Forklift Requirement
Applicants should have training and previous experience safely operating an order picker forklift.
Candidates should be comfortable operating powered industrial equipment in an active warehouse environment and following all required safety procedures.
Physical Requirements
This position involves regular physical warehouse work. Employees must be able to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods during the workday.
- Frequently bend, reach, squat, stoop, push, and pull.
- Handle and move products and materials throughout the shift.
- Safely lift and carry materials as required by the position.
- Perform repetitive warehouse and order-picking tasks.
- Work at a steady and productive pace.
- Work safely around forklifts, warehouse equipment, racks, products, and other employees.
- Enter and exit warehouse equipment safely throughout the shift.
- Use appropriate material-handling equipment as required.
