Contract Dates: November 9, 2026 – January 10, 2027
Contract Length: 9 weeks
Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, with a rotating day off
Shift Start: Between 5:30 AM and 11:00 AM, depending on case volume.

Position Overview

We are seeking an Outpatient Surgery Registered Nurse with endoscopy experience. This role supports a fast-paced outpatient surgery and endoscopy environment, with responsibilities spanning preoperative preparation and Phase II post-anesthesia recovery.

Responsibilities

• Complete preoperative assessments and prepare patients for procedures.

• Support patient care during outpatient surgery and endoscopy workflows.

• Monitor patients during recovery and Phase II care.

• Administer medications and support moderate sedation workflows as appropriate to the role.

• Monitor patient status and escalate concerns.

• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses.

• Coordinate with procedural and recovery teams to support safe patient flow.

Requirements

• Active California RN license.

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

• Current PALS certification.

• At least 2 years of nursing experience.

• EPIC experience required.

• Endoscopy experience required.

• Outpatient surgery or perioperative experience strongly preferred.

• Comfort with pre-op and Phase II PACU workflows.

• Moderate sedation and rapid patient turnover experience are beneficial.
